Board of Directors

Gary Francis

Mr. Francis  serves as President of the Board of Directors.  He is the Broker/Owner of American Dream Realty and Francis Appraisal Group located in Powell, Ohio and has been in the real estate business since 1978. He just completed a six year term on the Board of Directors at The Columbus Board of Realtors serving 10 counties in Central Ohio. Mr. Francis grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University. He has also been an instructor at Columbus State, Bliss College, and Hondros College in real estate and appraising.

Gary and his wife Kim reside in Powell, and have two adult children.


Melanie Crane Currently serving as Vice President of our Board of Directors, Melanie Crane acquired knowledge of PIN through the Leadership Delaware program in 2015.  Melanie is currently the Assistant Controller at V&P Hydraulic Products, LLC. and resides in Delaware County.  Originally a native of Cincinnati, Melanie attended college in Tiffin, Ohio. During her studies at Heidelberg College, Melanie majored in Business Administration and played soccer. Upon graduation, she moved to the Columbus area where she enjoys running, boating, volunteering, and spending time with family. 

Adam Fleischer
Adam Fleischer is serving as Secretary to the Board of Directors and currently serves as the Chairman of the Berlin Township Board of Trustees.  He was made the youngest elected public official in Delaware County’s history in 2012.  Adam has worked in the Ohio Statehouse, Governor’s Office, and organized several successful county and state-wide campaigns.  He attended Olentangy Local Schools and Ohio Wesleyan University. 
 
In his free time, Adam enjoys reading, watching college football, and genealogy.

David Green

David Green is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. He is a Principal at FocusCFO in Columbus, a company which empowers small and medium sized enterprises through sound financial management, forward thinking insights & tools, and proactive financial strategies. He formerly worked for Greif in Delaware. David is originally from Great Britain but left there in 1983 after receiving his CPA. Since then, he lived in Holland and Brazil before coming to the United States in 2001.

David resides in Powell and enjoys traveling, photography and sports when he is not helping clients or volunteering with PIN.  He has two grown sons.


Barb Benton

Barb Benton
Barbara Benton leads The Ohio Society of CPAs’ legislative and regulatory efforts at the state and federal levels.  She has over 25 years of experience lobbying on behalf of the CPA profession, focusing on professional regulation, tax, accounting, auditing and general business issues.  

A summa cum laude graduate of Otterbein University, Barb is a leader of the Ohio Alliance for Civil Justice coalition and past president of the Ohio Lobbying Association.  Most recently she led the Ohio Municipal Tax Reform Coalition, an organization representing 365,000 Ohio businesses and professionals.   On the national level she is active with the American Society of Association Executives, including serving as chair of the Government Relations Section Council.

Barb and her husband, Jeff, live in Orange Township.  They have four sons, two grandchildren and one very cute bulldog.

Jim Lewis

Mr. Lewis began volunteering for PIN at the 2014 Holiday Clearing House and since then has been enthusiastically working at the monthly produce drops. 

He has been a practicing attorney for over 39 years, the last 21 with the Columbus law firm Lane, Alton, focusing on insurance law and is a former senior assistant Franklin County prosecuting attorney. Mr. Lewis is currently serving as vice-chair of the Ohio Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Interpreter Services and on the LL.M. Advisory Council of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.  He devotes time to the Ohio Supreme Court's "Lawyer to Lawyer" Mentoring Program and the American Bar Association's Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) (using his fluency in Spanish to help train prosecutors and police in Latin America in their transition to the the U.S.. adversary justice model). Mr. Lewis is a U.S.. Army veteran and has volunteered time to Operation Legal Help Ohio (Ohio Military/Veterans Legal Assistance Project), in Franklin County.

He resides in Genoa Township with his wife Barb. They have two grown sons, one of whom resides in Denver and the other in Columbus with his wife and their four daughters.

Dave Lorz is Senior Director, Global Supply Chain at Greif and has been with the company since 2005 serving in various capacities.  Mr. Lorz received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1993 and Master of Supply Chain Management from Penn State University in 2012.

Megan Snider People in Need of Delaware County Ohio board member

Megan Snider

As a Trust Officer within JPMorgan’s Private Bank , Megan draws upon the resources of JPMorgan to help clients grow and preserve their wealth, and to ensure their desires outlined within their trust documents are implemented.  Megan has more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry and is familiar with all types of trust, tax and wealth planning strategies, as well as the legal responsibilities of being a trustee. Before joining the Private Bank in 2004, she was an internal auditor for Bank One Corporation, where she became the lead auditor of the Trust Company audits.  While in that role, she not only identified potential risk items, but also worked with the Firm’s Management to identify and implement solutions.

Megan and her husband have three daughters and live in Powell, Ohio.  She is proficient in Spanish and enjoys practicing these language skills with friends from Central and South America while helping them learn English.  Megan also is very proud to be a Member of “Women Giving Together” where she and a team of concerned women gather together to provide funding to worthy charitable causes within their community.  Megan is a former member of the Columbus Symphony Chorus and is currently a vocalist on her church’s Worship team.

Kirt Trimble

Kirt Trimble

Kirt Trimble has been in the insurance business since 2010 and involved with the PIN Holiday Clearing House since 2004.  After graduating from the Fisher College of Business of The Ohio State University, he worked in underwriting and sales roles for Grange Insurance in Ohio and Kentucky. As a licensed Property, Casualty and Life agent, and 4th generation Trimble employee, he is excited to be part of the family legacy.

Kirt currently resides in Delaware and enjoys hiking, hunting and fishing with his dog Woodford when he is not helping clients or volunteering with PIN, The Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio or Rotary International.
